North Idaho energy systems for real independence
About GridZero Energy Systems
GridZero designs solar, storage, and backup power systems for homes, rural properties, and businesses that want reliable power, water security, and lower operating costs.
Why We Started GridZero
After more than a decade in automation and alternative energy, one thing became clear: too many people were paying too much for too little control over their own power.
North Idaho property owners getting six-figure quotes just to run a power line. RV owners chained to noisy generators. Food truck operators pouring money into fuel every week. All of them dependent on systems that did not serve their interests.
GridZero Energy Systems was founded to change that. We believe everyone deserves sovereignty over their own energy — both the supply and the cost. Not energy as a monthly subscription to a distant utility. Energy as something you own, control, and benefit from for decades.
Our Mission
To empower North Idaho residents and businesses with reliable, custom-designed energy systems that deliver true independence from the grid, from generators, and from rising costs.
What Makes Us Different
We Specialize in Off-Grid
That focus means we think in systems, not just equipment lists.
We’re Local to North Idaho
We understand rural properties, weather, access, and what it takes to keep systems practical here.
We Give Honest Assessments
If solar isn’t the right fit for your situation, we’ll tell you. We’d rather earn your trust with honesty than sell you something that doesn’t serve you.
We Build for the Long Run
This isn’t a transaction — it’s a partnership. Systems designed to last 15–25+ years, with support, expansion, and answers whenever you need them.
